Dr. Yanina Jouzy
Meet Dr. Yanina Jouzy
Dr. Yanina Jouzy is a highly accomplished Latina entrepreneur, dental expert, and founder of Sunshine Smile Dental and Orthodontics, proudly serving the San Dimas community for over 15 years. Born in Lima, Peru, and raised in Guadalajara, Mexico, Dr. Jouzy’s rich multicultural heritage has shaped her compassionate approach to dentistry and fueled her passion for creating healthy, confident smiles.
Dr. Jouzy’s professional journey began at La Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara, where she earned her dental degree and built a strong foundation in oral health. In 2008, she achieved a significant milestone by obtaining her dental license in California, allowing her to bring her vision of exceptional dental care to life. Today, her practice is not just a workplace but a reflection of her dedication to personalized care and community connection.
A proud San Dimas resident, Dr. Jouzy’s commitment to the area goes beyond her dental practice. Her ties to the community run deep, highlighted by her son Kareem’s graduation from San Dimas High School in 2023, a moment that further underscored her love for the place she calls home. She thrives on building relationships with her patients, combining skill and warmth to create a welcoming environment for everyone she treats.
Dr. Jouzy’s pursuits extend far beyond the dental chair. She is a passionate advocate for advancing dental care and diversity in her field. Serving as the Secretary of the Hispanic Dental Association and President of the Diverse Dental Society, she contributes her insights to improve access to quality care and shape the future of dentistry. She is also an active member of the California Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the Greater Los Angeles Hispanic Dental Association.
Known for her patient-centered philosophy, Dr. Jouzy specializes in creating beautiful smiles through cosmetic dentistry, including Invisalign treatments. Fluent in both English and Spanish, she ensures each patient feels understood and cared for, fostering a comfortable and inclusive atmosphere.
Outside of her professional life, Dr. Jouzy finds balance and inspiration through her hobbies. She enjoys practicing yoga, meditation, and mentorship, as well as taking peaceful walks with her beloved dog, Clover. These activities keep her grounded and allow her to bring her full focus and positive energy to her practice every day.

Meet Dr. Victor Chan Wong
Dr. Victor Chan Wong was born and raised in a small city in Colombia called Santa Marta and is of Chinese descent. He moved to the United States when he was young, has been a resident of Los Angeles for over 20 years, and is fluent in both English and Spanish. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and completed dental school at the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC.
When Dr. Victor is not busy providing dental care to his patients, he dedicates his time giving back to the community. He is the former president of the Hispanic Dental Association – Greater Los Angeles chapter and currently serves as the community service chairperson. Additionally, he is on the adjunct faculty division of Dental Public Health and Community Outreach for the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC.
Dr. Victor Chan Wong is an active member of several esteemed professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Los Angeles Dental Society, Hispanic Dental Association, and Greater Los Angeles Hispanic Dental Association. Additionally, he proudly maintains connections with his alma maters through the UCLA Alumni Association and the USC Alumni Association. These affiliations underscore Dr. Victor’s dedication to continuous learning, professional excellence, and community service. By engaging with these organizations, he remains at the forefront of modern dentistry, enhances his skills, and collaborates with peers to advance dental care for all.
Dr. Victor is passionate about creating and maintaining healthy, beautiful smiles and believes in personalized honest dental care for each of his patients. He believes that patient oral health education is key, and emphasizes conservative modern dental procedures. He understands that patients might be fearful of dental treatments and that is why he likes to create a relaxing environment which includes the use of aromatherapy. Delivering quality care in a relaxing environment is very important to Dr. Victor.
In his free time, Dr. Victor enjoys spending time with friends and family, is an avid tennis player, and a sports fan, Lakers, Dodgers, Liverpool, Grand Slams to name a few.

Henna Chandra - Oral Surgeon
Meet Dr. Henna Chandra
Dr. Chandra is a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon who brings both skill and compassion to her practice. Originally from the Fiji Islands, she moved to Southern California at the age of 8, where her multicultural background shaped her warm and empathetic approach to patient care. Her dedication to excellence began early, earning her a Bachelor of Science degree with honors from the University of California, Irvine. She pursued her passion for dentistry at UCLA School of Dentistry, graduating with a Doctorate in Dental Surgery and building the foundation for her exceptional career.
Dr. Chandra further refined her expertise through a rigorous six-year surgical residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at UCLA, which also included earning a medical degree and completing a general surgery internship. Her advanced training allows her to expertly perform complex procedures such as dental implants, wisdom teeth extractions, corrective jaw surgery, and facial trauma care. Committed to creating a comfortable and supportive experience, Dr. Chandra takes pride in forming trusting relationships with her patients, ensuring every step of their care is tailored to their individual needs.
Beyond her clinical work, Dr. Chandra enjoys mentoring young professionals and giving back to her community. Her dedication to lifelong learning and patient-centered care makes her not only a respected leader in her field but also a compassionate partner in her patients’ oral health journeys.
